Before your appointment

Bring your W-2s, 1099s and applicable 1098 forms, along with investment statements and records of rental or self-employment income and expenses. Include Form 1095-A if you had Marketplace coverage and SSA-1099 if you received Social Security benefits.

Our checklist also covers identification, dependents and other common documents. Bring what applies to you; we’ll let you know if anything else is needed.

If you received Social Security benefits, also bring your SSA-1099. Our tax checklist covers the most common documents, and we’ll let you know if anything else is needed.

Will I review my return before you file?

Yes. We explain your completed return and answer your questions before you sign Form 8879. We e-file after receiving your signed authorization.
