How Avivas Accounting collects, uses and protects information submitted through this website.

Effective date: October 28, 2026

This policy explains how Avivas Accounting Corp., doing business as Avivas Accounting, handles information collected through avivasaccounting.com. It applies to this website only. Information you share as a client is governed by your engagement with Avivas Accounting and its professional obligations.

1. Information collected through this website

Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the reason for your message, your preferred language and your message.

Portal invitation form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), whether you are a current or new client, and your preferred language.

Both forms contain a hidden field used only to catch automated spam. This website has no accounts, logins or file uploads. Like any website, the hosting provider receives standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit.

2. How information is used

To respond to you, arrange appointments, send client portal invitations, keep a record of our communication, protect the website against spam and misuse, and comply with the law. Information from the forms is not used for marketing.

3. Please do not send sensitive information

Do not send Social Security numbers, tax returns, W-2s, 1099s, bank or card numbers, or copies of your ID through this website. Clients send documents through the client portal (Intuit Link).

4. Service providers

The website and its forms are hosted by Netlify. Form messages are delivered to Avivas Accounting’s email, provided by Google. The client portal is Intuit Link, a separate site operated by Intuit under its own terms. If you choose to show the live map on the Contact page, it loads from Google Maps. The Instagram posts shown on the Contact page are copies of Avivas Accounting’s own public posts, displayed from this website; your browser does not connect to Instagram unless you click a post. Information is shared with providers only as needed for them to provide their service.

5. When information may be disclosed

Avivas Accounting does not sell information collected through this website. It may disclose information to the service providers above; when required by law; when reasonably necessary to address fraud, misuse or security concerns; to its professional advisers; or in connection with a transfer of the business, subject to applicable law.

6. Cookies and analytics

This website does not use analytics, advertising pixels or marketing cookies. If you choose to load the Google map, Google may set its own cookies under its privacy policy. If analytics are ever added, this policy will be updated.

7. How long information is kept

Messages that do not lead to a client engagement are kept for up to 12 months and may be deleted sooner on request, unless longer retention is required by law. Client information is kept according to professional and legal record-keeping obligations.

8. Security

Avivas Accounting uses reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect information. No internet transmission is completely secure, which is why sensitive documents should only be sent through the client portal.

9. Links to other websites

This website links to Instagram, Facebook, Intuit Link, Google Maps and IRS.gov. Those sites have their own privacy practices.
